Marshall Building Restoration

The fund was established to defray the cost of repairing the damage caused by a storm in May, 2023, which damaged the louvers on all four sides of the bell tower. Grammy-winning guitarist Michael Hedges attended Phillips University in the mid-70s, studying closely with Dr. Eugene Ulrich, his compositional mentor.

Michael grew up in Enid, the son of PU alumni Dr. Thayne Hedges and Ruth Carroll Hedges, who met in the university band. Oracle: The Life and Music of Michael Hedges is being co-directed by filmmakers Mischa and Brendan Hedges (Michael's son and brother), featuring interviews with Graham Nash, David Crosby, George Winston and more.
